Agastache 'Blue Bayou' is a long-blooming hummingbird mint or anise hyssop offering a beautiful display of fragrant, tubular flowers in various shades of blue from mid summer to fall. The upright, airy spikes are held atop aromatic, textural, green foliage. It has a clumping upright growth habit 16-18 inches tall by 14-18 inches wide. Best grown in hot, sunny spots with well-drained soils. Fantastic in the mixed border, pollinator garden, and as cut or dried flowers. Pollinator magnet. Deer resistant. The flowers and foliage are edible.
