Description Fine Print

Agave utahensis ssp. kaibabensis is the largest and most cold hardy subspecies of the Utah century plant and is called the Kaibab Plateau Utah century plant. It grows to about 2 feet tall and wide in solitary rosettes of vertically-held, toothed, grey-green foliage with menacingly long pointed tips that are burgundy when young aging to tan and grey. A rare form found on the high Kaibab Plateau around the Grand Canyon in northern and western Arizona. Utah agave is one of the hardiest of all century plants hailing from Utah and the neighbouring southwest states.
