Description Fine Print

Asclepias fascicularis has a delicate appearance that belies its tough nature. The two foot stems have long, narrow leaves, with upward curled margins. The intricate flowers are pale pink and white and attract bees and butterflies. Narrow-leaf milkweed is a host plant for the western migration of the monarch butterfly. Plant them in your garden to encourage the monarchs to come to BC where they have been known to visit in warm summers.
