Chionodoxa luciliae 'Alba' is aptly called glory-of-the-snow as one of the first spring bulbs to bloom, often pushing up through the snow. The starry flowers are pure white with yellow centres. Easy to grow in evenly moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and great in combination with hellebores, Corydalis solida, and snowdrops.
