Clematis tangutica 'Golden Harvest' was selected at the Boskoop Research Station in Holland. This cultivar is far less aggressive than the straight species. Golden yellow 1-2 inch (3-5 cm) wide nodding flowers have striking near black stamens. Attractive, fluffy, silvery seed heads follow. Pruning group C.
