Corydalis 'Blue Heron' produces clusters of true blue, fragrant flowers accented by finely textured, gray-green leaves with cinnamon stems. Plant around hellebores to great effect. This species will go dormant in midsummer if the soil dries out. May rebloom in fall in cool summer areas like BC. Forms a slowly spreading clump. Discovered by Dan Hinkley in China and introduced through Heronswood Nursery.
