Crocus chrysanthus 'Lady Killer' features snow white, cupped flowers with a purple flush on the exterior of each pointed petal and bright orange anthers. Species, or snow crocus, are some of the first bulbs to emerge in the late winter, two weeks before other forms. They will grow in the garden or anywhere grass does, but don't mow them until after the foliage dies back.
