Dactylorhiza maculata ssp. podesta x majalis is a hybrid of the subspecies of the widespread Eurasian heath spotted-orchid found in the Netherlands and the broad-leaved marsh orchid which grows across Eurasia. It will produce spikes up to 16 inches tall of pale pink flowers with intricate magenta markings atop lush, heavily burgundy-spotted green foliage. Despite their marshy natural habitats, this orchid does well in evenly moist garden soils in full to part sun. Its parents are both hardy to zone 5 so this hybrid is likely the same.
