Euphorbia obesa is a rare and choice succulent from South Africa that forms rounded spheres typically with eight raised ridges. It is often called baseball plant. The balls are horizontally striped with grey and green. Tiny greenish and pinkish flowers are produced at the apex. Plants can slowly elongate with age into vertical cylinders though this will take many years. Our plants are large at about 5-6.5 cm in diametre.
