Haemanthus pauculifolius is a rare bulb closely related to H. albiflos and the most recently discovered species. It has 1-2 narrow, thick, leathery, deep green, evergreen leaves up to one foot long with silver hairs on the margins and a white paint brush-like flower head with yellow stamens in fall. The bulbs are photosynthetic and can be planted partially exposed. The fruit is white and attractive. Use as a pot specimen placed in the part shade to part sun garden during the growing season and inside in winter. Makes a fantastic, bold, and easy houseplant that blooms easily each year. Keep above five degrees Celsius in winter. Our nursery-grown bulbs are adult blooming size as of 2022.
- Large blooming size bulbs.
