SUBTROPICALS There's always room for more botanical intrigue. These subtropical plants are perfect for those who suffer from zonal denial. On the West Coast, many of these plants will be hardy outdoors if planted in protected situations. Though some are definitely borderline and best brought indoors in winter. Elsewhere in Canada, use subtropicals as container specimens for focal points in the summer garden. In winter, bring them into the house, the sunroom, a greenhouse, or a heated garage or shed.
Please note that many unusual subtropicals can be found in our Summer Bulb and Bare Root Pre-Order.
