The big, bold and impressive Helleborus Ice n' Roses Frosted Rose offers large, outward-facing flowers in shades of white and yellow-green with pink picotee edges. The large foliage is thick, leathery, and dark green forming valuable evergreen mounds. Plants will begin to bloom in October or November in containers or November in the ground with flowers continuing for many months well into spring. A cross between H. x ericsmithii and H. x hybridus. The Ice n' Rose series are the largest of hellebores with huge leaves and flowers on tall stems up to 1.5 feet high. They are excellent for containers or the landscape. Plant in full or part sun, not shade. Deer resistant. Often listed as zone 5 but should grow well in zone 4 with a winter mulch of leaves and/or good snow cover.
