Hydrangea macrophylla 'Elizabeth Ashley' is a beautiful, compact, mophead cultivar with pretty blue flowers in acidic soils and rich pink flowers in alkaline soils. A rebloomer with large, voluptuous flowers that first emerge in early summer and continue through to late fall. As flowers mature, their colours take on more vintage hues, all with green eyes. A compact growth habit of 3 feet tall and wide with upright, strong stems. Enjoys morning sun and afternoon shade. This dwarf size fits beautifully in the smallest of gardens, in the mixed shrub border, as an accent feature, and in containers.
