'Coos Bay' is a stunning introduction with ruffled white and canary yellow standards and intricately coloured and detailed falls offering shades of purple, purple-blue, red, white, and yellow with white bearded tipped in yellow. Light fragrance. Blooms in late season on 34 inch stems. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
