Description Fine Print

'Grateful Red' is a stunner with ruffled burgundy red standards and falls, the falls lightening to copper red at their centres and lined with blue around an orange beard. Stems can bear 3-4 branches each with as many as eight flowers per branch! Blooms in the early midseason. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
