'Megabucks' offers a wonderful juxtaposition of colours for a bold garden display. It has ruffled golden yellow standards and bright fuchsia falls with a quarter inch wide butterscotch margin. The mustard coloured beards are also surrounded with yellow. Blooms in the late season. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
