'Stellar Lights' is a stunning deep blue-purple with incredible depth of colour set off by a patch of icy white around the white beards. Blooms in the mid to late season and reblooms in late summer or fall. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
