Description Fine Print

Lonicera caerulea, known as haskap or honeyberry, is a super hardy zone 2 shrubby honeysuckle that produces tasty cylindrical blue fruits high in vitamin C that taste like a combination of blueberry and raspberry that can be eaten fresh or used for pies, jams, jellies, and other desserts. 'Tundra' was selected by the University of Saskatchewan for its high production of sweet and tart berries. It also makes a good pollinator for 'Aurora', 'Borealis', and 'Berry Blue' and vice versa as haskaps need to be pollinated by a different clone, all of which will bear fruit. Fragrant, yellow, tubular, spring flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
