Magnolia 'Yellow Bird' is one of the best yellow-flowered hybrids with smallish, three inch wide, buttery flowers that emerge with the foliage. It is easy to grow and performs well in the garden eventually developing a conical or pyramidal shape. Golden brown fall colour. A cross involving M. acuminata and M. liliiflora. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 2 feet tall.
