Ornithogalum nutans is an ephemeral bulb with spikes of fragrant, outward-facing to slightly nodding, star-shaped flowers blooming in late spring. They are interestingly bicoloured with white and grey-green. The stems are 12-18 inches tall and last for a long time as a cut flower. Bulbs can naturalize readily when happy becoming overly aggressive in some regions. Tolerant of part shade and moist to dry soils. Native to Bulgaria and Turkey. Photo: Wikipedia.
