Description Fine Print

Physocarpus opulifolius 'Ginger Wine' is an easy to grow, North American native shrub ideal for both moist and dry soils. The foliage emerges bright orange maturing to a sparkling burgundy. Clusters of pinkish buds open to tiny white flowers in late spring that bloom on old wood. The habit is upright growing 5-6 feet tall and wide with attractive peeling bark visible in winter. Ideal as a landscape or back-of-the-border shrub, as a thriller in a container, and as cut flowers.
