Punica granatum 'Ambrosia' produces among the largest of all pomegranate fruit with pink skin and sweet-tart arils inside. The gorgeous orange-red blooms provide a subtropical look. This is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub that grows up to 10 feet but is easy to keep smaller by pruning. Pomegranates require lots of sun and heat to bloom and fruit. They are self fertile and leaf out in late spring.
