Sanguinaria canadensis 'Flore Pleno' is the exquisite double form of this elegant woodland plant native to most of North America east of the Rockies. In spring, pure white, starry, pompoms arise from the soil clasped by the interesting leaves. It is a treasure of the spring woodland garden. The common bloodroot arises from the juice extracted from the root of the plant which is bright red. Plants are nursery-grown.
