Description Fine Print

Sanguinaria canadensis is an elegant woodland plant native to most of North America east of the Rockies. 'Roseum' is a rare pink form with star-like flowers centred with yellow stamens. The flowers arise from the soil as pink buds clasped by the interesting leaves opening to pale pink flowers with darker pink reverses. The common name bloodroot arises from the juice extracted from the root of the plant which is bright red. Nursery grown.
