Sanguisorba 'Blackthorn' is a medium-height, clump-forming burnet that will keep the pollinators happy with its profusion of rosy-pink, upright, bottlebrush flowers that sway above its green, pinnate foliage from summer to fall. It can reach 2-3 feet tall and wide. Requires moist but well-draining soil. Great in the mid to back of the border for vertical appeal. Use in the cottage, prairie or wildflower garden, and in the vase. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant
