Tulipa 'Crown of Negrita' has lovely, ruffled, plum purple flowers with hints of raspberry purple. It is a crown or coronet type tulip, a new class of tulips introduced in 2018. These flowers have strong, thick, leathery petals that are ruffled and curved. When in bud they look like a crown.
