Zingiber mioga 'Silver Arrow' is a rare variegated selection of the hardy, edible Japanese ginger. This distinctive and fabulous cultivar has leaves that are marbled and splashed with silver gray, cream or white all over. It is vigorous and stable. This species is probably the hardiest of the true gingers. The species is grown as a food plant in Japan for its edible young shoots and flower buds.
