189 Choice Clematis, Passionflowers, and other Vines for 2024
This pre-order is now closed. Many of these cultivars will be available for in-person shopping at the nursery. For mail order customers, you will also find many Clematis and other vines available in the Vine section of the Main Catalogue available for ordering and shipping from June onwards.
PLEASE DO NOT MIX PRE-ORDERS: The plants in each pre-order are only available for shipping or pick-up during a specific period each year. Orders for each pre-order must be placed separately from other pre-orders and our Main Catalogue. Please do not place mixed orders*.
Welcome to our Clematis Conundrum Pre-Order offering a curated selection of the best the world of Clematis has to offer including old favourites, unusual species, and cutting edge new cultivars. This pre-order also includes passionflowers, honeysuckles, jasmines, star jasmines and more!
The Clematis Conundrum is the first of two Clematis offerings each year. The second group of Clematis will be part of our Main Catalogue for shipping in June. This selection will include Evison Clematis, including 'Josephine', and other choice cultivars. This selection will launch in early 2024.

Plant Details: Plants are provided mostly in 1 gallon pots with some in 15cm and 2 gallon.
Shipping Details: These are full-sized vines grown on 3 foot stakes. While we attempt to reduce the volume by partially cutting down the stakes and carefully packing the stems, it is unavoidable that shipping vines will require boxes of some volume which means there are unavoidable shipping costs. For larger 2 gallon pots and larger orders that require large or multiple boxes, additional fees calculated after we have packed your order may be required to cover the costs of shipping your order. We only charge to cover our costs and do not make money on shipping. Please refer to our Shipping Info for more discussion on additional costs related to large orders.
Cancellations and Changes: Once plants are ordered, they are reserved for you and can’t be sold to anyone else. We view your order as a commitment you have made with us in good faith. For this reason, cancellations for full refund will only be accepted until March 15th, 2024. After that date you can choose to cancel for a refund minus a 25% restocking fee or cancel for a full store credit. Additions can be made at any time by placing a new order. Put a note about your previous order(s) in the Order Comments box at the end of checking out.
*Mixed orders will be charged an administrative fee of $5 per pre-order/main catalogue order to cover our costs of separating and organizing your orders. As a rule, all pre-orders ship separately due to timing and different packing requirements. In some cases we may be able to combine some pre-orders to ship together if you send us a detailed email listing all of your orders. While we will do our best, we cannot guarantee that any pre-orders will ship together.
