Description Fine Print

This spider lily resembles a pure white, spidery daffodil with a round corona which is yellow at the very centre, long, thin filaments and orange stamens, and long, narrow, arching petals. Flowers are fragrant and are borne on stems 1-2 feet tall above the Amaryllis-like foliage. Hymenocallis caroliniana is perhaps the hardiest member of a mostly subtropical and tropical genus. Grow in evenly-moist to wet soils in full sun to part shade.
