Description Fine Print

Aloe polyphylla is a stunning, rare, endangered aloe from the mountains of Lesotho (the mountain kingdom surrounded by South Africa) featuring light green leaves arranged in a spiral that becomes more and more pronounced as the plant matures growing to 1-2 feet across. Note that spiraling doesn't begin until plants are about 6-8 inches wide. In its native habitat it experiences sharp drainage, winter frosts and snow, and cool summers with ample moisture. Plant on a slope in full sun in very well-drained soil or in a pot. It is hardy in zones 7b to 9 but extreme care should be taken to protect from winter rain and soil moisture.
