Cytisus x boskoopii 'Zeelandia' is a sterile broom that grows into a compact, bushy shrub offering a spectacular show in late spring to early summer with abundant sprays of fragrant, pink and creamy-white, pea-like flowers with highlights of peach and yellow on slender, arching branches followed by tiny grey-green leaves. It can reach four feet high and 4-5 feet wide. Semi-evergreen, well-behaved, low maintenance, sterile and drought tolerant once established. Tolerates poor soil as long as it is well-draining. Grow or train against a sunny, sheltered wall, or use at the back of the border, as an informal hedge, or mass plant as a tall ground cover. Pollinator attractor.
