Iris pseudata 'Shiryukyo' is an early summer bloomer with eye-popping blends of purple with magenta standards and crisp, dark veining on rich purple falls contrasting beautifully with a bold and bright yellow signal. Tall, elegant, vigorous plants grow up to four feet tall in a variety of conditions from standing water and rain gardens to normal gardening conditions. Plants are sterile. Prefers full sun for best performance. Pseudatas are a cross between Iris pseudacorus and Iris ensata. Attracts hummingbirds and bees. Deer and rabbit resistant.
