Kirengeshoma palmata or Korean waxbells is a tall stately herbaceous plant from the Hydrangea family with wonderful serrated, maple-like leaves, elegant creamy yellow bell flowers that flare open in late summer and fall and black stems providing stunning contrast. A must for the woodland and shade gardens for vertical, textural and colour elements and appeal. Growth habit is 3 feet tall and wide. Looks great with ferns, cobra lilies and hydrangeas.
