The martagon is a classic woodland lily with small, delicate, pendant flowers with recurved petals. Lilium martagon 'Candy Morning' has beautiful mid pink flowers with a hint of lavender and purple spots. It's so new to us that we don't yet have a photo but you should Google it. Great in a part shade or the woodland garden rising above Hosta, Arisaema and Brunnera. Some martagon lilies will take a "year off" especially in the year after being first planted. Dig down carefully to investigate before fretting.
