Tulipa 'Flaming Prince' is a lovely bicolour, early-blooming tulip with variable flames of purple, lavender and pink. It resembles a Broken or Rembrandt tulip. It is a compact cultivar blooming at about 12-16 inches tall. Hybrid tulips can persist in the garden for many years. Afterall, they rebloom each year in the fields of the Netherlands. Provide full sun where bulbs aren't shaded by other plants, fertilize with bulb food as soon as they emerge in spring, and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
