Uvularia sessilifolia is known as wild oats or bellwort. It is a forest understory species from eastern North America including from Ontario to Nova Scotia. It is a delicate rhizomatous perennial that forms spreading colonies of delicate, erect, burgundy-infused stems with nodding to pendulous pale yellow flowers with long linear petals. Use it as an accent or as a small scale ground cover.
