Clematis viticella 'Alba Luxurians' is a relaxed, nonchalant cultivar with four undulating tepals variably tipped with green. Use it where you want to light up an area in an informal way. It is a member of the Viticella Group which were the first clematis grown in English gardens beginning in the 1500s. They bloom from July to September and are hardy to zone 3. Tolerant of part shade. Pruning group C - hard prune in early spring to about one foot from the ground.
