Diospyros kaki 'Fuyu' is an early-ripening variety bearing abundant crops of sweet, flavourful, orange fruit followed by strikingly beautiful, orange-yellow fall foliage. The fruit is usually eaten when firm like an apple but can also be eaten when soft and tender like a ripe tomato or dried. It is very similar to 'Early Fuyu' and 'Sweet Fuyu'.
