Rubus 'Polar Berry' is an unusual blackberry with translucent, white fruit said to taste just like a black blackberry. Do we call it a whiteberry? It was found by chance growing amongst wild blackberries of the normal shade on a farm in Illinois. It will produce good crops of unique fruit in August. It has a compact habit suitable for container growing.
