This hardy tea plant (Camellia sinensis) is from the area around Sochi, Russia where they produce the most northerly tea in the world. Tea from these plants is very aromatic and flavourful. 'Sochi Select' is prized for its abundant foliage perfect for making green or black teas. It is held on hardy, vigorous, more upright shrubs perfect for containers or for use as an edible hedge. The flowers are white to creamy white.
