Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus is among the first daffodils to enter cultivation from the wilds of southern Europe. It was first written about by the Greeks and may have been the daffodil in the Greek legend of Narcissus. It is special daffodil with pure white petals and a very small yellow corona edged in orange-red. It is extremely fragrant with stems reaching up to 16 inches. Photo: Wikipedia.
