Liriope minor 'NoMo' is a tufted, grass-like, evergreen perennial offering a compact mound or mat of narrow, strap-like foliage growing to 2-3 inches tall on plants 8-12 inches wide. It makes a good ground cover and lawn alternative since it doesn't need to be mowed, thus the name 'NoMo'! It is fast-spreading by underground runners. Low maintenance and drought tolerant once established, it withstands light foot and dog traffic. Purple flowers bloom amidst the foliage but are inconspicuous. Use as a ground cover for small to large areas, in containers, and of course, as a great lawn alternative.
