Description
Fine Print
Caladium 'Carolyn Whorton' is a dramatic foliage plant with glossy, arrow-shaped leaves filled with bright pink and deep green spots and bright red veins that contrast perfectly with the rich green margin. This cultivar is fairly sun tolerant but can also grow in full shade. Not hardy for any of us but it's easy to save the corms over winter (at 10 degrees Celsius) and bring them out in spring. Caladium love heat. Best to start indoors and move outside once nighttime temperatures are above 15 degrees Celsius. Use as mass plantings or in containers and hanging baskets or as year round houseplants.
