Edith Wolford' is a profuse and long blooming bearded iris from late spring into early summer. Bringing grace and elegance to the garden, this beauty boasts heavily ruffled light canary standards, delicate violet-blue falls, and yellow beards. Foliage is semi-evergreen and clump-forming, and stems up to 35 inches tall. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
