Kniphofia 'Solar Flair' comes to us from the Pyromania collection with eye-popping, tropical-looking torches of tubular flowers in brilliant yellow on spikes that rise up to 36 inches above the clumping grass-like foliage. Red hot pokers bloom and rebloom all summer long. Use for drama, vertical appeal and textural contrast in the middle of the border, as a specimen, focal point, and as cut flowers. Prefers hot, dry conditions, but needs watering when blooming. Drought tolerant once established. Popular with hummingbirds and pollinators. Deer and rabbit resistant.
