Description Fine Print

Primula vulgaris 'Oakleaf Magenta' is a little something different for the spring garden with unusually lobed leaves that resemble oak leaves. This cultivar bears large umbels up to 18 inches high of magenta coloured, single flowers with bright yellow centres in an upright clump that can bloom for months on end. Prefers cool weather. Easy to grow in any well-drained soil. Use in borders, containers and as cut flowers. All-in-all a striking and unique primrose and an early source of nectar for pollinators.
